New Moon is a Drama | Fantasy | Romance movie and was released in November 2009. The movie is more of a romantic film rather than a contest between a vampire and werewolf eying the same pretty girl. Although the competition amid the two boys, well actually the other one is quite the teen a hundred years ago, may incite a raging battle between two ancient archenemies, the very obvious - vampires vs werewolves, the love story still went afloat.
Edward's actions of leaving Bella behind may seemed to be a lame move, unless he had found another love or had succumbed to Jacob's charm and benevolence towards Bella. Being overwhelmed from the heard rumors of Bella's death ending in taking up Edward's own life may portray love, failure, helplessness, and insignificance but it was Edward's lack of strength, fervor, and balls that may helped the events occur. The reason of salvaging Bella's life from getting involved in the vampire affairs may seemed to be a manly and unselfish Edward's excuse. Thanks to Bella's wavering heart (or shall I say "girl's nature"), Jacob got his chances on strengthening their relationship. But it was also the reason why Edward was saved from his wrecked heart to cease from suffering.
This movie has been nominated and won several awards such as the Saturn Awards, Empire Awards, Kids' Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and many more. This is nice love story of torn between two monsters epic. You can't expect to have deadly display of strengths and prowess on scene, but a tug-of-war of strings for the heart of a lady. I'll have a 6/10 rating for this movie.
