You Kill Me [2007]

You Kill Me is a Comedy | Crime | Romance movie and was released in July 2007. Ben Kingsley got his funny side quite amusing in here and their tandem with Tea Leoni is pretty effective too.

What the movie failed is that the comedy and drama part were quite mixed up and seemed not have settled down to what it should have portrayed.

This movie was nominated and won a couple of awards in the Prism Awards and Satellite Awards. I'll have a 4/10 rating on this film.

New Moon [2009]

New Moon is a Drama | Fantasy | Romance movie and was released in November 2009. The movie is more of a romantic film rather than a contest between a vampire and werewolf eying the same pretty girl. Although the competition amid the two boys, well actually the other one is quite the teen a hundred years ago, may incite a raging battle between two ancient archenemies, the very obvious - vampires vs werewolves, the love story still went afloat.

Edward's actions of leaving Bella behind may seemed to be a lame move, unless he had found another love or had succumbed to Jacob's charm and benevolence towards Bella. Being overwhelmed from the heard rumors of Bella's death ending in taking up Edward's own life may portray love, failure, helplessness, and insignificance but it was Edward's lack of strength, fervor, and balls that may helped the events occur. The reason of salvaging Bella's life from getting involved in the vampire affairs may seemed to be a manly and unselfish Edward's excuse. Thanks to Bella's wavering heart (or shall I say "girl's nature"), Jacob got his chances on strengthening their relationship. But it was also the reason why Edward was saved from his wrecked heart to cease from suffering.

This movie has been nominated and won several awards such as the Saturn Awards, Empire Awards, Kids' Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and many more. This is nice love story of torn between two monsters epic. You can't expect to have deadly display of strengths and prowess on scene, but a tug-of-war of strings for the heart of a lady. I'll have a 6/10 rating for this movie.

How To Loose Friends And Alienate People is a Comedy | Romance movie and was released in October 2008. I think this movie wanted to portray on how to be a better smart ass, i guess "the dumb" might be better. Simon Pegg seemed to be not so funny in here or maybe because Megan Fox was pretty alluring, especially, when she got wet from walking across the pool. Maybe this movie had made its job well as I was alienated from it and don't want to make friends with it. A not so good movie but maybe a good one for Megan's fans. I'll have a 4/10 rating for this movie.

Thirst is a Horror| Drama | Romance movie and was released in April 2009 in South Korea. It started when a blood thirsting priest was in love with a girl. They both became blood drinkers and find themselves bound between their romance and their appetite. It had won & has been nominated several prizes like the Saturn Award, Empire Awards, Asian Film Awards, Cannes Film Festival, and many more. This is one good movie of desire and pleasure. Adam is a Drama / Romance movie of a man with Asperger syndrome. The movie was released in August 2009. It started when Adam met the newly transferred and beautiful Beth. Although, Adam have a disorder, he was accepted by Beth, and together they worked out ones understanding towards the other. This is a good movie, and deserves the Sundance and Method Fest awards.
