A Nightmare On Elm Street is a Horror | Mystery | Thriller movie and was released in April 2010. A remake of the 1984 movie of the same title. A group of teens in a certain town were haunted in their dreams by the infamous claw-handed Freddy. As the teens tried to identify this horror in their lives they ought to find a different truth tracing way back from their childhood hidden from them by their parents, they can't go to sleep in any moment. Now, as almost everybody are getting killed and are taking micro naps due to lack of sleep, a couple of those that were left got to do something before Freddy owns them.

Buried [2010]

 

Buried is a Drama | Thriller movie and was released in September 2010. Paul Conroy (Reynolds), a U.S. truck driver working in Iraq, woke and found himself buried alive in a coffin somewhere unknown. The tools he has were a lighter, a cell phone, and his watch. Now, as time is running out, all he needs to do is to find help before everything will be over for him.

The Tournament [2009]

The Tournament is an Action | Thriller movie and was released in October 2009. This film is filled with assassins wanting redemption. The huge amount of money at stake is quite the motivation.

What this film failed is that the actors quite did not deliver the intensity of their situation. Also, plenty of killers

The Fourth Kind [2009]

The Fourth Kind is a Mystery | Sci-Fi | Thriller movie and was released in November 2009. The lovely Milla did quite a nice acting here. I guess, she really fits in suspense-thriller type of movies. In this movie, the use of both real and added footage makes it more defying, together with the background sounds it would get your jaw drop down.

What this movie failed are that it claimed to be based on actual case studies, but no reports and information about those said studies were available. A sheriff and deputies were involved in the scenes, however Alaska has has no counties, hence there should have no county police or sheriff. The film took place in Nome. The place may have hills but no mountains, like the one when Tyler used a plane in her transport. It's also like a vast plain with the nearest tree to be miles away.

This is a good suspense thriller movie that needs to be taken in with a blank and open mind to be appreciated. Better not have this researched beforehand and it will spoil you. I'll have a 5/10 rating for this movie.

Boarding Gate [2007]

Boarding Gate is an Action | Drama | Thriller movie and was released in August 2007. The lovely Asia Argento makes this romantic drama so thrilling sexy. It came so natural of her as a drug abuser aiming for a good life through some business but was drag between her old and the new flames.

What this film failed is that the plot of the story was simple yet it was quiet ambiguous as to what Sandra (Argento) should have chosen instead, maybe it was just that complicated in the illegal world of narcotics. Progress was very slow, it also has plenty of fillers, especially those erotic scenes just for some side trip diversion.

This film also brought up a very broad topic that sometimes it's really hard to understand when a person loves. There might be difficulties, maltreatment and other differences between lovers that may produce to love-hate cycle yet both were somewhat still intimate in other ways.

This is a fine sexy thriller movie. I'll have a rating of 5/10 for this film.

From Paris With Love [2010]

From Paris With Love is an Action | Crime | Thriller movie that was released in February 2010. This action-filled movie quite had a simple storyline of a couple of agents trying to stop a terrorist attack in a public area, this time it's Paris - the one with the famous tower.

The tandem between John and Jonathan was effective. The novice, egoistic and ambitious James (Meyers) was trying to cope with the seasoned, cranky and freaky Charlie (Travolta).

What this film failed is that when gathering information to uncover the attack, the source would often be the downtown gang's alley, where drugs, money, and illegals are usually located. It may seem to be very common for a scene.

This is a good movie for a stop-a-terrorist-attack film. I'll have a 6/10 rating for this film.

Siren X [2008]

Siren X is an Adult | Horror | Thriller movie that was released in May 2008. It has been a folktale in some countries about some powerful being alluring people, treating them well, and give them their heat desires, ending in some tragic events like removal of limbs, flesh be eaten, or soul be taken. This time, it's a beautiful, lustful demon in a form of a woman singing attractive songs that men could not endure but succumb to their sexual desires tricked for having their souls in exchange of the pleasure.

What this movie failed is that, the she-demon should have been charming men to fall in line to have an intense moment with her, so as the title described - she could have a daily dosage then. But it seemed that she only sang when a man had actually seen her, there are not much singing scenes either and I can't even hear her voice. It's like being focused more on the "X" side instead of the "Siren" side - I guess that would be a sexy, pretty, and luscious cast be portrayed. She also had followed some guys to some places just to have fun with him - includes the murders - instead of those guys being following her. But maybe, that would a lustful demon could do, especially when she had eyed a stag to play on longer.

This is a not so good creepy and busty film, but it gave me some chills thinking that beautiful women might have intentions as a hungry sensual demon. Just don't let some kids be left to watch this alone - they might get scared. I'll have a 4/10 rating for this movie.

Fast And Furious 4 [2009]

Fast And Furious 4 is an Action | Thriller movie and was released in April 2009. The entrance of the 1987 Buick GNX is quite a hottie when used in hijacking some truck in the opening scenes. But I guess, the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T would still be the hottest in the film, maybe because it's in the cover poster or maybe Vin loves to have it rolling.

The movie got quite dramatic when Letty was out of the plot though her death. Although Mia tried to stop her brother, but it gave the reason for Dom to chase the "beasty" culprit(s), well thanks to the killer-man within Fenix. Then obviously, it's where the whole movie rotates. The film is just a simple vengeance and justice story acquired through the underground car society. What I loved about the movie were the showroom of some beautiful autos that kept rocking the chasing scenes, well, aside from the lovely Jordana and Gal, I must say.

The film has been nominated and won some awards like the MTV Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and more. I guess the totality of the movie was to display those cars. I'll have a 5/10 rating for this film.

Rec 2 [2009]

Rec 2 is a Horror | Thriller movie and was released in October 2009. This movie was the second sequel to, yes as the name suggests, Rec. This might be a horrifying film that you'll ever see. With an uncommon approach of entertaining the movie-goers, this documentary-like movie is packed with events that are like on live stream and a sequence of recorded terrifying moments as the virus spreads valiantly in the quarantined building through the flesh-tearing vicious virus-affected people. The fact that this film would offer you a situation where in you tend to be part of the event itself is quite what makes this film a great horror of a film.

What just lacks is that the one who hold the camera seemed to be part of the movie but has never been threatened with the horrors. Maybe because it is where the viewer would feel that it will be one's responsibility to control the recording and hold onto it for the film won't be finished if the cameraman leaves the line. Better not watch this film alone for it might give you the creeps unless your the zombie-like fanatic that lurks in your hive waiting for some prowling opportunities.

This movie had won & nominated a couple of times in the Gaudi Awards, Goya Awards, and Catalonian International Film Festival. This is a great horror movie and is really frightened me. I'll have an 8/10 rating for this movie.
