What Happened To Palmbux?

It has been like weeks, probably a month now, I noticed that Palmbux isn't loading the pages and consequently accounts can't be accessed. Being a member, for quite a while, I have been checking this site daily hoping that I could get back into my Palmbux account. However, until now, Palmbux ain't online yet.Though I was just quiet about this before, but now I think something is really wrong about it. Then suspicions and doubts now came flooding, not just from me, but also to other members. 

What Really Happened?

Firefox 4

Recently, Mozilla has released the 4th version of their web browser Firefox. After Firefox 3.6, the new version is quite different from the original version, or shall I say versions, of Firefox. The look, the feel, the over-all feat is like totally different. I thought of it as a different web browser at first glance. LOL! However, it's more likely quite a bit awesome than before.

Clixsense Offline

There was an announcement from Clixsense that the site would be offline for a day. This is a big deal, not because something bad has happened to Clixsense, but the new looks or rather the new Clixsense will be up soon.

Hopefully, there would be no delays or problems arise. Also, some new stuffs going to be featured, some contests maybe or some gifts. All members might be excited about this.

Clixsense Upcoming New Website

An announcement from Clixsense about the upcoming new looks. In about 5 days from now, the new Clixsense website will be online. The staff are anxious but also excited about it. The image below would show further details.

Also, this new website together with the Clixsense toolbar would give much help than before. 5 days would be not that long anyways. Hopefully, everything's be fine when that time comes.

Clixsense Reminder

Yesterday, Clixsense gave some reminders regarding payments. Since today is the last day of the month, tomorrow midnight the payments, if available, will be done automatically.

This information was a reminder to adjust the payment setting, so as to prevent unexpected balance transfer.

Clixsense On Google Chrome

The Clixsense toolbar quite had the name after the success of the held Clixsense series of contests with the aide of their toolbar.

The releases were thought to have been intended for Mozillla Firefox and Internet Explorer only. However, as other web browsers are also popular and are widely used, a toolbar for those web browser may be beneficial after all.

So far, Clixsense toolbar is now available for:

• Mozilla Firefox
• Internet Explorer
• Safari
• Google Chrome

Although, the release of the toolbar for Google Chrome would be in a few weeks, this new version could help expand Clixsense around the web.

Clixsense Contest Continues

Seemed like it was just somewhat yesterday when this contest from Clixsense had started. No doubt about it and the contest was finished, but, shall I say the first phase of the contest has just ended. Though the first winner was not so familiar, the contest just proved that Clixsense sure has a lot of money to be given away. LOL!

Anyway, congratulations to the first winner. Mohammad Tarikussaman from Bangladesh, which received $250.00 in to his account. Lucky guy he is..

Just as the first phase of the contest ended, the second phase had just started. Now, it is even bigger and better. This time there will be 10 winners instead of one, maybe that was kind of exaggeration, since these 10 winners will only receive $25.00 which also totaled to prize the first winner had in his account. The difference was it all his. Maybe this time Clixsense wants a few more people to be happy. Not bad being given with $25.00 after only installing a toolbar.

This was a nice idea made by Clixsense. After these contests are done, the winners would be happy and all other else may be eager to have another some more contests. Good luck to all that had joined for this contest.

Clixsense Toolbar

The other day I had posted about a contest that will be held in Clixsense.com accompanied with some attractive prices. More info about that contest here. Clixsense Contest.

An additional information and a little solution for those using the Clixsense toolbar having some issues with Mozilla browser was prompted. It was about the toolbar not showing up in Firefox. However, this issue has been resolved with the new version of Clixsense toolbar.

There still is one day left before the contest starts. To those aiming for some prices and some bucks, prepare the toolbar working beforehand, so as to maximize earnings.

Subtitles Added

It has been an ideal setting when watching a favorite movie or a new crazed film on-the-block to have it understood, unless you ain't watching at all. However, certain instances may interrupt your moment when a sudden distraction on your hearing occurs, or a corrupted file, or maybe in any way your file had a low audio sync and you're so itchy to have your movie watched that finding another copy is irritating. Then it would come to thought that subs would be of great help.

Many people often request in the net for subtitles, thanks to many subbers, many subs are available in many different languages. As English, the most used language in many beautiful films, it also became a very common of a difficulty to follow the movie's plot, especially, when the film is more of the talking and English is not a native language of yours. Then subtitles became a great aide, well unless if you're annoyed to have been reading rather than watching. I guess, watching anime (Japanese animation films) which is very common in Asia, contributed in the multi-tasking effort of watching the film while reading the subs, honestly - i'm a victim too. LOL!

Then I have decided to add some subtitles to the rated movies that were posted in here. This is new, so, currently only a few have been edited to have the subtitle appended at the bottom of every post, and still looking for the nice subs corresponding to the other previous movie posts.

I hope those who have been here might find the subs helpful.

A Warning From Clixsense

It was just recently that Clixsense made some announcements and some, shall I say, enlightening information. Although this PTC site has been on business for a while now, they still are opting for for further improvements in their website and services - in general, the business.

Here are their advices:

First, they had some issues with proxy servers, and as a solution to that, they would be blocking some proxy addresses in the near future. However, they were open with dynamic IP addresses provided by the ISPs.

And, secondly, they had reminded the members to be careful with PTC sites. Many and so many PTC sites were reported to be bogus and has been tricking people for money. The most important thing between the PTC site and the members are the accounts that connects the two in to conduct business. If these accounts are disclosed, many could possibly happen, and one of the great events would be loss of profit.

The image below is the complete message rendered by Clixsense. This reminder may also serve as a warning to everybody so as to keep their guard up, especially when you care about your investment, business, and information.

This is a nice move from Clixsense. And, the promised more improvements to come is very much awaited, especially to the members. Kudos to Clixsense.

Paypal Issues In Palmbux

Yesterday, an edit to the post by admin has made some greater hopes on resolving the problem very soon. Paypal had started the year with some issues. With the paypal accounts currently disabled in Palmbux for cashout, members that uses Paypal as payment merchant are uncomfortable with the current situation. Are they that strict? Or is that part of their security measures?

Here's what admin said:
Hmm, maybe today is our happy day? PayPal wrote us now that all documents are okay and verified.

We just need to give them one more proof, that we are really the owners of PalmBux.

Yeah, nice joke, how to proof this?! But dont worry, we make it happen and send them enough proofs tomorrow and call them again if the proofs are okay.

It looks as we will solve this soon

I guess Paypal won't let one of their great customers get lose and turn to some other services. With persistent admin and members, this problem won't be that long to be over.

Change Personal Settings

It was just a few days passed where V3 was launched but did have some problems and are being fixed by Palmbux Team. However, admin did not forget to remind the members to add security to one's account to further strengthen the safety. Please refer to this post for the info about that. Registration And Password.

How to change Personal Settings?

1. log-in to your account. (will be re-directed to My Account after successful log-in)
2. go to your account. My Account.
3. look for the member's settings bar, located below the Palmbux header name.
4. find the Settings button. (encircled with red in the image below)
5. place mouse cursor over the button and wait for the sub-menu to flash out
6. click the Personal link
7. fill in the blanks required and follow the instructions

Being one of the avid members of Palmbux, I also have my Personal Settings changed, as shown in the image above, which is in accordance to what admin have warned. Security is relatively needed as rampant attacks in the internet are not uncommon. Also, do not forget to enter your current password to save changes in your account.
