The Auteur [2008]

The Auteur is an Adult | Comedy movie and was released in April 2008. The script is vulgar but witty and gutsy. The totality of the film is filled with pot-smoking, nudity, sex, and camera.

What this film failed is that this might have been an erotic film in the making, well maybe because it is the story of a porn director who is trying to get his life back despite his personal shortcomings. It's like "better have a lap dance", but hey, it's also a biography of a great porn maker, and how he did it.. LOL!

Boarding Gate [2007]

Boarding Gate is an Action | Drama | Thriller movie and was released in August 2007. The lovely Asia Argento makes this romantic drama so thrilling sexy. It came so natural of her as a drug abuser aiming for a good life through some business but was drag between her old and the new flames.

What this film failed is that the plot of the story was simple yet it was quiet ambiguous as to what Sandra (Argento) should have chosen instead, maybe it was just that complicated in the illegal world of narcotics. Progress was very slow, it also has plenty of fillers, especially those erotic scenes just for some side trip diversion.

This film also brought up a very broad topic that sometimes it's really hard to understand when a person loves. There might be difficulties, maltreatment and other differences between lovers that may produce to love-hate cycle yet both were somewhat still intimate in other ways.

This is a fine sexy thriller movie. I'll have a rating of 5/10 for this film.

The Stepfather is a Suspense / Drama movie released in October of 2009. Starts with a story of a man who lost his family and is constantly looking for a new family that questions not his true identity. A loving father and husband but will do anything that threatens his individuality even if it means by exterminating anyone or everyone in the way.

Berserk Continues

Berserk (ベルセルク, Beruseruku) is a long-running dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. He premiered a prototype of Berserk in 1988 and the first volume of the manga was published on November 26, 1990 by Hakusensha in its Jets Comics collection.

The setting is inspired by medieval Europe. It centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk (鷹の団, Taka no Dan). As he ages, Guts changes from a solitary boy into a man who realizes the value of camaraderie. The story contains elements of both fantasy and horror, as it explores both the best and worst of human nature. Both the manga and anime are noted for their heavy violence. It was adapted as an anime, Kenpū Denki Berserk (ベルセルク剣風伝奇, Beruseruku Kenpū Denki), which was produced by Oriental Light and Magic and aired on Nippon Television from October 07, 1997 until March 31, 1998. It ran for 25 episodes and covered the first arc: Golden Age.

This seminal dark fantasy manga, Berserk, is set to resume regular serialization in Young Animal after a long break. Fans are delighted about this comeback and hopefully continues with what happened with Guts and Casca. Young Animal 21, will go on sale on the 24th, at the same time as the 33rd volume of the manga. Young Animal will also carry a commemorative cover by Hachimitsu to Clover mangaka 羽海野チカ / Chika Umino to mark the occasion.
