Big River Man is dramatic documentary of Martin Strel from Slovenia. Did a couple of big river swims a few years ago, like the Mississippi and Yangtze rivers. But in February 01 to April 08, 2007, for a total of 66 days, Martin swam the world's longest swim of 5,268km. (3274 mi.) of the Amazon River. Minding not the safety of the fearsome river not his health being overweight at the age of 52. This great swim of Martin was dedicated to the protection of the rainforest. This movie won the Sundance and Hamptons Film Festivals. This hero have a big heart for this cause.
