Those familiar with torrents might also have encountered with uTorrent, a powerful and light client, and this might be useful to find or view the history of current and previously downloaded torrents. Deleting or removing torrent(s) from the client would only remove it from the interface. However, the actual torrent file is stored somewhere else which could be viewed anytime.
There are two ways to do it:
- Enable - show hidden folders
- Directly go to the folder
#1.
First, enable 'Show hidden files, folders or drives', this might vary from different Operating System used but the procedure is the same.

Second, go to this location. This sample is for Windows7 OS.
C:\users\(current username)\appdata\roaming\utorrent
Here's how to do it.
- Open a folder (Computer)
- Click Local Disk (C:)
- Click Users
- Select the current user and click it
- Click appdata
- Click roaming
- Click utorrent
Take note that the above underlined must be replaced with the current user's name.
e.g. C:\users\Administrator\appdata\roaming\utorrent
#2.
This option is easier for slightly advanced users but may be hard for others. This is just simple, all you need is to know your user name. Once you knew your user name, just modify the folder address and copy and paste it in the folder's address bar. And, viola, there it is in an instant.

Open any folder. This is the complete addresss
C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\utorrent
If your username is Administrator for example, just change the username from the complete address above to Administrator. You may edit it in a notepad or directly in the address bar. It will look like this.
C:\users\Administrator\appdata\roaming\utorrentThen, copy the edited address and paste it in the address bar of the opened folder. Or if the editing was made in the address bar, just press Enter. And you're done!
Now, you should see the folder contents which were all the torrents that utorrent has downloaded and/or downloading. You could remove files to keep them away from kids/wife/parents/etc.
