Heroes - New Season

Despite unsteady ratings this year, through its third and fourth volumes, "Villians" and "Fugitives" respectively, Heroes opens season 4 in the last quarter of the year. Although, I'm a bit late of an information about this, the 4th Season as confirmed by NBC last May 04, 2009 for the renewal of Heroes Season Four consisting of about 20 episodes, had its latest season began with a 2 hour premiere special last September 21, 2009. This fourth season contains volume five, Redemption.

This is a good move by Admin. This newly added account would give a much greater benefactor to members with this membership as higher earning potential and benefits are featured.

Inovabux moves forum

Yesterday, Admin announced that Inovabux will move the forum to a new location. This may be a little bit cumbersome as to go to another site to view forums, but Admin has a great reason as to this re-allocation be made.

New Forum.

I think there is another option without moving the forum, it is by getting a much better server. But, I guess, it would be a lot better to move the forum to a new location if site's performance would be affected. It might be quite troublesome going to another site to view news, updates, and the likes. May be members will just get used to it in any way.

Server Downtime

There was a server downtime last October 20, 2009 at Palmbux. Many people got worried, but not furious, about what had happened. After the server have recovered and is online, The Palmbux Team posted a thread in response to what had happened the other day. Many were glad that Palmbux is back, and showed full support with the team. Many also were disappointed with had the hosting provider did.

Here's what the Palmbux Team said,

Hello,

Last night the Palmbux - Server was shut down by our Hoster. Unfortunally we reached the Bandwith limit for this month, just 5 hours before the new paid month started...( the server-month is allways 20th to 19th of each month!

It´s unbelievable that the Hoster stopped the Server, just for these 5 hours... We pay alot for the server - and the new month was already paid - so normally there was no need to interrupt the service...

We are really very disappointed with this hoster - and now we´re gonna change to the new server asap!! The new Server has a lot more Power and unlimited data-transfer. So this won´t happen again. The actual server was back online on midday already - but, to make it fair for all users, we decided to let the Site offline till 0:00 hrs server time.

So, the Site was off for 24 hours - all users will have one day added to their refs and memberships. Also, all users have the necessary clicks added, to be credited for your refs clicks today!!

We are really sorry and apologize for this issue !!

But - we didn´t even think that our actual hoster would treat us this way....

Anyway - all those server-issues of the last weeks will be solved with the server-change and the new Version V3 - probably in 10-15 days!!

It is a very great decision to move to another server. The upcoming V3 of Palmbux is a much awaited. It is just about 10 days to 15 days wait for its launch. Many are excited about this and just can't wait to have this. If we have these kind of Technical Support, then these new features will be a lot better than the previous.

Berserk Continues

Berserk (ベルセルク, Beruseruku) is a long-running dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. He premiered a prototype of Berserk in 1988 and the first volume of the manga was published on November 26, 1990 by Hakusensha in its Jets Comics collection.

The setting is inspired by medieval Europe. It centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk (鷹の団, Taka no Dan). As he ages, Guts changes from a solitary boy into a man who realizes the value of camaraderie. The story contains elements of both fantasy and horror, as it explores both the best and worst of human nature. Both the manga and anime are noted for their heavy violence. It was adapted as an anime, Kenpū Denki Berserk (ベルセルク剣風伝奇, Beruseruku Kenpū Denki), which was produced by Oriental Light and Magic and aired on Nippon Television from October 07, 1997 until March 31, 1998. It ran for 25 episodes and covered the first arc: Golden Age.

This seminal dark fantasy manga, Berserk, is set to resume regular serialization in Young Animal after a long break. Fans are delighted about this comeback and hopefully continues with what happened with Guts and Casca. Young Animal 21, will go on sale on the 24th, at the same time as the 33rd volume of the manga. Young Animal will also carry a commemorative cover by Hachimitsu to Clover mangaka 羽海野チカ / Chika Umino to mark the occasion.

Incubus - Monuments & Melodies

Incubus is an American Grammy Award-nominated rock band, from Calabasas, California. Formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose Pasillas while enrolled in high school. The band expanded to include bassist Alex Katunich (a.k.a. I saw this album from a friend of mine. I was kinda envious so bought one, since I'm an avid fan of incubus. Although I have bought this album a few months ago, I feel like posting it today when I saw it while I'm looking for a music CD to listen to. This 2 CD album was released last June 16, 2009 (Tue). The first CD has 15 songs and the second CD has 11 songs. This album contains old and new songs. There are at least 3 bands named Incubus. But, I find this band to be a lot better. And, Brandon is pretty cute.

Trigun - The Movie

The tentatively titled "Trigun the Movie" project will feature a completely original story from Nightow and Trigun series director Satoshi Nishimura (Hajime no Ippo/Fighting Spirit, Shin Cho Bakumatsu Shonen Seiki Takamaru), as well as a script by Yasuko Kobayashi (Claymore, Shakugan no Shana, Witchblade anime). Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Jubei-chan - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch, Ninja Scroll series) will return from the Trigun television series to design the characters that Madhouse will animate.

Trigun (トライガン, Toraigan) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow, published from 1995 to 2007 and spanning 14 collected volumes. The manga was serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Shōnen Captain from the series debut in 1995 until the magazine's demise in 1997. The series continued in Shōnen Gahosha's Young King Ours magazine, under the title Trigun Maximum (トライガンマキシマム, Toraigan Makishimamu), where it remained until finishing in 2007. Trigun was adapted into an animated television series in 1998. The Madhouse Studios production aired on TV Tokyo from April 4, 1998 to September 30 1998, totaling 26 episodes. An animated feature film is expected in 2009.

Known for its Space Western theme, Trigun is about a man named "Vash the Stampede" and the two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the "60,000,000,000$$" (sixty billion "double dollars") bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July. The official Trigun - The Movie site is currently in Nihongo. English translation coming up, hopefully. The movie was planned for Japan in 2009. Classic “cyber SF western” anime Trigun is set to return with a theatrical anime in the spring of 2010.

Is Qualitybux a Scam?

Qualitybux.com, what is that? another PTC site? Is that a scam?

There are many people also who are not sure about what is going on with this PTC site. Whether this be another "trying to be fix bugs and close" site or a "can't maintain pressure" Ponzi scheme?

I have found a very nice post that proves this site is not to be TRUSTED! Here's an excerpt from the report:

After careful review, we are adding QualityBux to our Scan List and here are our reasons why:

1. Payments Stopped! - As of today the last payment proof that has been posted on Aug 31st. It is now Sept 6. Also we requested our payment and have yet to receive it!
   
2. Forum Is Now Censored - When they do this, the site has gone scam and it is usually too late. Forums get censored because the number of complaints. However QualityBux would like to make you think that the reason is totally different than that.
   
3. Poor Upgrades - For a site that calls themselves "Quality"... there are numerous complaints about the quality of services this site is giving it's upgraded members. In one case a person was terminated after they had to file a complaint with Paypal since support at Qualitybux was not responding to any of their inquiries..
4. Poor Customer Service - Members complain that staff seem to be avoiding them and not responding to them.
   
5. Site is New - Take extra care with new sites. They can be here one day and gone the next. Make sure you test the site out before you purchase upgrades, and never invest more than what you can afford to lose. This site just came out of preLaunch mode.
   
6. Whois Private - Owner is hiding their identity. Could it be a privacy issue, maybe to combat spam? We doubt it. There are other owners who do not have these issues and do not have their whois private.

Bigmoneyptc.com, what is that? another PTC site? Is that a scam?

I have seen a lot of people who are not sure about what this site is all about. Whether this be another "too good to be true" site or a "mission impossible" money making scheme?
